I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new toy. I have always wanted a SAA and put an order in last year, in July. It just arrived at my FFL today and it is awesome. I am thrilled with the quality and beauty of the ivory grips. I ordered a SAA in 45 caliber, 5 1/2 inch, with one piece ivory grips. I am horrible with pictures, but tried to post a few. I am going to ask my son to help me over the holidays perhaps take better pictures. Anyway, here they are.

The wait must have been excruciating.

Well done on the order Steve, and I know you'll treasure it. What a nice family heirloom also.

Thanks all; yes, it will be a shooter. I just have to shoot it, but I'm sure I'll keep her cleaned. I've been reading a lot on maintaining nickel and thanks to you all here, I'm learning! My only regret is I didn't get two!
