My Talo Gold Cup Trophy is supposed to be the exact same pistol as the non-Talo one except for the Basket Weave Wooden Grips instead of the blue ones. I like the ones I got better.

I have both and they have one other difference. Other than the wood basketweave grips, the TALO edition has a solid blackened steel front sight. The Trophy Lite has a Novak fiber optic front sight.

Colt has two versions of the GC Trophy: the full featured model at nearly $1,600 and the "Lite" version [minus the front strap checkering, the magazine well, and enhanced magazines with extended baseplates. at nearly $1,300.

The TALO GC Trophy was a one-off limited edition pistol.
