Hello all.

I am an active member of another forum and was referred here due to some questions about a revolver I received as a gift.

I am an avid shooter and mostly collect long guns. My collection consists of a handful of AR rifles that I've built, a few AKs, shotguns, and some handguns, rimfire an C&R stuff. I have a few stamps as well. My favorites are my SBRs. My current project is a .300BLK "Honey Badger" inspired SBR.

I carry a Springfield 1911 Champion Operator in a Milt Sparks VM II or a Ruger LCP when I can't carry full size.

I only own 1 Colt firearm. The one mentioned earlier in this post; a 1978 Nickel Detective Special.

I work in state government managing veterans programs. Although I am not a veteran myself, I am a patriot. I love my country, my countrymen, and the men and women who bravely protect our freedoms. My career is devoted to helping our community's veterans find civilian success when they return from service. If you know of a veteran who needs help with something, please do not hesitate to send me a message.

I am also a proud Freemason. I am sure there are some Brothers on this site and I encourage you to say hello if you find this post.

If you have any questions, send me an IM.

Welcome to the Forum, Broward. Sounds like you have a well-rounded collection of arms there. You will probably find that your Colt DS will spawn other Colts. Happens a lot here. Enjoy!

Thanks for the welcome. What an amazing community with some extraordinary collections!

Here is the only pony in my stable:

The disease is spreading though. I have 3 on my list that I would like to acquire in the next 12 to 18 months.

SAA 4 3/4" in .45 Colt
Woodsman 2nd Series
3rd series DS shooter. (There is no way I will shoot my dad's nickel DS)

After that I would liie to add to my collection:

1991 or 1911 Gold Cup (currently have several 1911s, but no Colts)
Diamondback
Something in Case Hardened Steel
4" Python Royal Blued (Grail Gun)
Police Positive
6920 LE Rifle
6933 (To add to my stamp collection)

This forum has given me a severe case of Colt fever.
