It’s my new SAA I just purchased. Haven’t had time to take her out and shoot her so I haven’t removed the tag yet.
Brand new? Currend production? Can you post some pictures of that gun?

@johngross
isn't that piteado typical Mexican?

Hi dallascowboy. I will post some pictures as soon as I can. I purchased it in about September of this year. I posted a picture under a thread about “who currently does CCH” demonstrating the difference between CCH on my only 2 SAA. Just not home at the time. Ed

Aay, Pancho!

Piteado's made from cactus fibers - beautiful stuff - Gilbert Roland wore a piteado rig in a couple of his movies a long time ago.

Most if not all of the so called piteado rigs made today are not made from cactus fiber. They are embroidered with thread material not cactus fibers. That's why the vintage painstakingly made by hand piteado stuff is rare. This first picture is definitely not cactus fiber. The rig originally posted also may not be without closer pictures. s-l64.jpg 4B822F70-B839-4E54-9A97-85127DBFBD89.jpeg
