Hello: I am a new member and the owner of a Colt Trooper, 38 Spl. This gun belonged to a former FBI agent who is now retired. Going to the range tomorrow to check it out.

I believe so. It is in great shape and I am looking forward to taking it to the range along with my snubbie from 1968.

Welcome to the forum!
The old style troopers as you'll see if you look some of the old threads, are quite highly regarded. Not as sexy as a python but often just as smooth and VERY accurate. Congratulations.

Welcome to the Forum Larry D.

Be sure and let us hear how the Trooper checked out. I'm moping on the computer as it is 105F just now.

What kind of 1968 snubby do you have?

The Trooper shot great. All shots in a nice tight group. I put Pachmayr grips on it and that improved control and feel.
