Hello All,
Glad to be here, I always want to know more so that I can be of greater danger to my bank account. Don't have any additional Colt's on the horizon for right now. I think at some point I'd like to have the right SAA but for now just want to look at Colt porn and get my education on.

I have been told that the only gun shop in Cambridge, Roach's Sporting Goods, has closed. It was a great shop. What happened?

Snakeguy,
You know when I moved to the area about two years ago that place was already gone. Probably needed the retail space for a chipolte.

Welcome to the Forum. I hope buying a pistol in MA is not as difficult as I imagine it must be.
Thanks Saintclair,
The permit process in Mass is pretty intense. For normal folks it’s just a pain, but not exclusionary. My big problem here is the "safe list" not a single Colt on it. Not that Colt is making tons of new stuff but I cannot even transfer in say like a WWI redo or a series 70 government because it’s not "on the list”. C&R doesn't matter either. If it’s not approved FFL's can't take it in and transfer it to me. California, has something similar but they'd at least let me transfer in C&R's.

You can buy just about any Ruger or Smith you can imagine though, even pink ones. Just no Colts!
Austrian plastic fantastics go for about a $300 premium because of the list.
