This was the second New Service added to my collection about 25 yrs ago . 45 Colt made in the late 1930's . I don't see many in nickel . The 4.5" bbl is a little more unusual as well . The grip straps show some flaking , but overall , not too bad . It's my only nickel NS .

Guy: That is a beautiful and interesting revolver. You were smart way back when to pick it up. I have always admired those particular Colt stocks that were made for the NS in the '30s as well. A very handsome piece overall.
