When did Colt transition from hard rubber to wood stocks; New Service that is.
Any help and/or source helpful. gr

The "regular" New Service got walnut stocks in 1928. The New Service Target always had walnut stocks. "The Book of Colt Firearms" is the source, as well as sales literature and personal observation.
