I just bought a new 6940 last week and spent one afternoon at the range. I have a lot to learn in regard to this gun and this site has been a great source of info already. The LE6940 has a FF barrel and I was resting barrel on bench stand. Will the accuracy be affected by this method? Should I be resting the rail on the bench stand instead of the barrel? I would like to get pretty good at the bench before I try using other shooting stances. Just curious, I have a long way to go to try and improve my accuracy, if possible. Thanks,

I would equate the barrel on your 6940 to a tuning fork. It has a certain "harmonics" when fired. Anything touching or attached to the barrel can throw off the accuracy to some degree. Not saying it will put you off the paper but you wont be as consistent in your groupings.

Here's a short video to shed some light on how accuracy is affected...
