Oh no, you DID NOT pay too much. The reason this gun was discontinued in 1969 was that it took almost as much skilled labor to make it as a python. So you have a gun that shoots as well as a python for less than 1/2 the price. And since it has been shot you will be able to go out and shoot it without worrying about degrading its value. Next report I want from you is how you grade its shooting ability.
