Well, I'm retired and have a fairly large collection of S&W revolvers and Colt 1911A-1 commercial pistols, plus a stray Hi Power and Glock. And I've been active the past few years on forums for those particular handguns.

But, I bought a 4" Colt nickel Python at the Pasadena, Texas gunshow today (Sunday), and figured that it would be a good idea to join This Forum both as a viewer and a poster.

I've heard for years that the Python has the smoothest trigger of all revolvers, and now I'm going to find out in person. And also learn as much as possible about this model by participating on this forum. I'm really looking forward to it.

Best regards, Jack M.

Hello Jack.

I'm not the official site welcomer by any means, but figured someone ought to respond to your introduction. We are a little slow around here from time to time, but all in all, decent folks with pretty darn good knowledge. The opinions and advice are here, just sometimes have to wait to get them or even prod them out of the folks.

It is good to get new blood like you so that we generate more interest and participation. So ask your questions, give your advice, post your pictures, or just plain stir up the pot. I'm sure the activity would be more than welcome here. As you can see the Lounge has died and nobody has even found the body yet!

Welcome aboard and congratulations on the Python purchase.

WS23,

Thanks for the welcome, whether official or unofficial!

Again, I look forward to participating in this new (to me) Colt forum. I neglected to mention in yesterday's introduction post that I also acquired a blue Delta Elite 10mm 1911A1 that will generate some questions.

Best regards, Jack M.
