Question: just how common are "Factory" plated Nickel Bisley's? The Letter from Colt states that it left the factory in 1904 a Nickel plated .45 Bisley.

Also can anyone suggest any good books on the Bisley Model.

They aren't all that common but not a real rarity. One of your neighbor dealers has one that I saw at a show last weekend.

I'm not sure anyone has done a book on Bisley's specifically.
