This 1914 vintage Springfield produced 1911 was cought while fishing in a lake in 1961. While the barrel, trigger and safety along with the springs had to be replaced, it is in remarkably good good shape inside and can (and has) been shot. When it was found it had a loaded magazine and an empty chamber.
