Swamprat had a 1963 SAA Nickel .357 with a 5.5 barrel for sale, we agreed on a price and I bought it. I received it with a set of stag grips he had sent photos of. It is by no means perfect, but the SAA looks even nicer than the photos he sent and the stocks are AWESOME. Here are a few photos and I think you will agree that it is super nice. THANKS Swamprat, another Colt joins the herd!

My collecting consists of .38 special in both blue and nickel in 4.75, 5.5 and 7.5. I also am collecting .357 in both blue and nickel in 4.75, 5.5 and 7.5. I have a 1st generation .38 special Colt SAA conversion coming too. Nickel is to complete a collection and not necessarily my favorite finish, but I like them all.

I would have bought it just for the grips and then sold the gun! Nickel just ain't my thing.
