Hi,
I'm new to Colt revolvers, I just traded for an excellent or better Officer Model 38 (3rd Model)with a 6inch heavy barrel and perfect checkered wood grips. It's serial number is 613882. I am curious about what year it was produced and it's approximate current value. Any other history on this model would be nice too. Thanks.
Hans.

Made about 1937. The OMT was one of the last "good" Pre-War Target revolvers Colt made.

If it's in real nice condition, all original and has some eye appeal they go about $ 550. to $ 650. Of course you look hard you can sometimes find them for less.
