Officer\'s Model Match .22...few questions

Just picked this up today, in about 98% condition. The serial # is 76,4xx, about when was it made? The only problem is it came with some thumbrest target grips that I don't care for. I'm going to need some different grips for this one. Will python or diamond back grips fit my gun? I'd like to find some checkered service or target style for it.

76,4xx was made in 1958.
The numbers that year ran from 74950 to 76499.

Grips made for the Colt Python, Official Police, and Old Model Trooper will fit you Officer's Model.

The "Correct" grips would be the First type fully checkered Colt Target grips.
Unfortunately, these are now rare and EXPENSIVE.
