Just got a 70 Series 1911 Government Model in 9mm. Sure looks like a winner! Can't wait to get out and shoot it, probably this weekend. Shame a person has to work for a living when there are so many more important things to do.

Congrats on your find. All my Colts are 80 series, but folks say that the 70 series have a much better trigger than the newer 80s................Mike

You found a gem there Tex B. That's one of those guns that nobody appreciated until they were no longer available. I owned one of those years ago and loved it.
