One for a soldier, one for a gambler.

U.S. M1860 Colt, cal. .44, SN 72xxx. Mfd. Hartford, Conn., 1862.

Ethan Allen single shot swingout derringer, cal. .22. Mfd. Worcester, Mass., 1865-1871. Complete with optional ejector!

Partagas Double Corona, cal. 7 1/2 x 49.(Smiley)

The cartridge box was made by Allen & Wheelock (1856-1865), predecessor of E. Allen & Co.
The firm seems to have changed its name every five or ten years.

The 1860 is the first handgun I think of with regards to CW revolvers . I have #51348 .

Thanks for sharing .

Very nice picture of two great old Colts. I think the 1860 Army is the best looking single action ever made. Thanks.
