Opinion needed, do these Colt medallions look original?

I am new to Colts so wanted to know. I have a vintage set of Herrett's target grips that I am fitting to my 78 New Frontier and wanted to add medallions.

The "ringed" back and the hollow tube seem to be a feature of genuine Colt medallions.
