Hey All,

I really like my bright stainless 38 supers..I have two.
The issue is why won't Colt make the same thing in .45?

So, my questions are as follows: When looking at an older model 70 Colt 1911, how can you tell if it was blue and then nickel plated? Is there a range of serial numbers for nickel 45,1911? Does the serial number start with or have a letter that signifies nicke? Bright and shiny nickel....NOT satin.

Thanks!
