Going to clubs, doin' new dances....🕺

That you don't drop your gat; 'Out On The Streets '. Al thanks to Ringo Starr MBE for those pumpin' not-quite-disco lyrics.👏

Hartford has yellow tape on the streets, also the need for duty sidearm and caliber .

Thanks squirrel , I keep a good lookout and tight grip .
Did some some upstate NY delivery - was waiting to be arrowed and eaten by a tent city .... filled with “ the hills have eyes “ inhabitants. Strange and dangerousthings are becoming norm ,

Looking at a new apartment to rent? That one even has a window view!!

In all seriousness, it's sad that our American cities even get to this point.
This is nothing new in Demo run Cities. It was already in place 50 odd years with Rent Control in the Boroughs of NYC when I was commuting out from my then job by train.

Here's a tune to go along with the pic.
Ride Safe. Dr.Tramp............
It is happening everywhere, even in places where such stupidity has been rare to non-existent. People in some areas think nothing of shooting each other with increasing regularity.
I must rethink my daily personal security preparation. I am normally quite happy with a small hideout type of thing. I do not necessarily carry full size equipment every day. Perhaps I am complacent. I reckon that I am due for a slight alteration in my approach. It is not the first time I have changed things around based on current trends.
Fortunately, there are several suitable choices in the pile, any of which will provide a higher measure of usefulness in a pinch.
This is where we are at.
Keep your powder dry, boys.

ps. My involvement with ordnance and ballistics is based in personal experience with folks who would attempt to intimidate, threaten, vandalize, or otherwise attempt to make a point using a firearm. This goes back 50 years. I remain unimpressed, but I do commit to reserve the right and responsibility of self defense.

OK sorry this is a west coaster, take a look at Portand, Los Angeles, San Francisco, not last nor least , my largest neighborhood city Seattle. My family and I do not go there anymore!🤬😢
In reality, this is not at all new in big cities.
I remember in the early 80's my best friend and I were driving through a large midwestern city looking for a company that supplied equipment he needed to pick up.
I was carrying a Colt Combat Commander .45, he was wearing a Colt National Match .45, and he had a Ruger Mini-14 with a 30 round magazine under the seat.

Due to the area, we considered this to be just common sense.
It was really disheartening to see what used to be fabulous mansions that were owned by the wealthy that were literally falling down, and that was on the main street. Looking down the side streets convinced us that we were not going down those.

These days the rot has spread even into small towns, and I won't leave the house without my Kahr Arms K9.
It's not nearly as bad as big cities, but it's here.
