Hello guys (and girls of course);
Well, I was back at the doctor again this morning and he dropped a bomb on me. I guess the results of my echocardiograph tests were back and after checking my blood pressure (normal) as usual, he asked me this question. He said, "Bud, would you consider a heart transplant?"
Well, I thought I'd been gut shot. I was absolutely stunned. After a short discussion on the pro's and con's of things he said "Ok, we'll get you on the list, and in the meantime I'm sending you to Rouge Valley (a hospital here in Ontario) for a Pacemaker/Defibrillator."
Isn't it funny how one's entire world can change in just a few minutes. I guess I should have expected this coming but for some reason I didn't. What a surprise.
I'm letting you all know about this because you asked me to let you know more when I found out, and because you've all been so very kind, what with my mother's accident on her chairlift and then with my own health issues. Many of you are like family to me. At least that's the way I see you anyway.
Thanks for listening lads, I feel a little better already.
Bud
