I think you are right about the front sight.

I placed a real lowball bid on the one offered today and didn’t even come close.

I was curious as to what this would bring as mine sold at Morphy’s for $720 a few years ago ($600 plus buyer’s premium).

Nice gun, Ian. This thread reminded me I have an Army that went to Colorado and a Navy that went to Oregon, both in .41Colt. The markings on these guns of that era were so crisp and nice, as is some of the remaining blueing. My 3" isn't nearly as nice as the 6".

I love reloading for and shooting mine. It's in 41 Colt caliber. They are a very high-quality revolver and seriously undervalued.

Not in similar condition. This one is reblued and sold for 55% of the other, better one.

OK I see that now. Mine was NOS when I got it but has been shot some now. Still far better than the one that auctioned for $1000. I think I had about $800 in it delivered when I bought it last year.
