Was driving home from work and stopped by local pawn shop that usually sells only plastic fantastic Glocks. They wanted $2700 I paid $2000, new in the box. Not sure what #5 stamp on the trigger guard means

Why the 45ACP rounds???
.
I do not reload. Factory 45 ACP is much cheaper than 45 LC. 230 FMJ ammo is much cleaner than lead. Plus I’m old and have a lot of ACP lying around. Pete 😆

Cheap and convenient if you don't reload.
Obviously late to the party...you can shoot 45 acp from a 45 colt cylinder?

No you can’t,you need an ACP cylinder that is fitted to your particular 45 LC. In my case I have an ACP cylinder that is fitted to two different guns with a seperate fitted bushing for that gun. Pete

In the thread below, forum member Colt75 Colt made a few 3rd Gen SAAs in 9mm. Later in the thread, Jim Martin said he worked on a couple of nickel plated 9mm Colt SAAs.

Those 2 9 MM's belonged to an owner of a museum over in Hawaii & he used them in the Cowboy matches over there his sass name was engraved on the backstraps,it is Paniolo,Hawaiian for "cowboy"I did the actions & put 1 pce grips on them.I'm not sure but I think I made them from Hawaiin Koa wood,I've got a few Colt's in my collection w/Koa on them,it's really beautiful wood.
