Well I could use another set just like this pair if anyone has a set they would spare.....

I have one last project slowly getting done and I think the pearl would really make the gun....thanks RR

I agree. Pearl and engraved Colts were the most expensive custom features you could order for many generations. On Colts as well as S&W, Merwin, and others. They would always cost many more times than a pimp would want to pay, or to risk losing in a bust. The 1970s inner city pusher gun would have been a little Iver Johnson or Charter Arms junk. An engraved and pearl handled Colt is more what a wealthy businessman or politician would own.

Well you may be correct as I don't have any PIMPS as friends or even acquaintances......

Or rich businessman and politicians either.....

I guess I just accepted the TV stereotype......

I really don't want to do any research but if I must take one for the team so be it :cool: :cool: :cool: RR
