Any thoughts on the value of an electroless nickel Gold Cup National Match? The gun appears ANIB with the matching box and all paperwork. Also do you know the date of manufacture for S/N 70N89321. I have an ACE in e-nickel but I have never seen one of these before.

Got another picture and there is some blemishes behind the grips. Any idea what this could be and if it can be removed?
Thanks

Made in 1980.

Do not attempt to "remove" blemishes. It is better to leave them, just some oil.

I saw one 8 or so years ago with box in slightly worse shape for 1250.

For the right collector, it could be 2000 bucks ... that's my guess.
New in box flawless condition these can bring well north of $3k. Again for a perfect specimen.

Well here is my "NICKEL" GC from 1974.....don't know if it is factory but the price was right so I took a chance....came with the 22 conversion too....no box....paid $1500 for the pair....RR

As noted above, a value of $2000 (maybe more) to the right buyer. Very nice hard to find Colt GC.

That is very nice.

I have a Series 70 from 1980:

I can see some similar features. My S70 is about ~$1K while your S70 NM (ANIB) is $2K.

Hurst, did you end up buying this electroless Colt GC?

No I did not. I had an issue with the blemishes behind the grips.
