Hi All:

Just found my Christmas present (Christmas is October 1st, right?)

I'll post pictures when I bring it home.

Police Positive .32 Colt Short
Grips are black rubber and perfect
Bluing is 95% with some rub on cylinder and barrel.
Trigger and top of hammer are a very bright, almost royal-metallic blue. I've never seen this before...
SN 78XXX which puts it in 1910.

I'm goona load my own for this, but am having difficulty finding info about ammo that was contemporary with the pistol. Anybody have any info?

Bullet Diameter?
LRN Weight (I believe 90gr)?
Load Data?

Thanks

Glad to have you join the Forum.

Hey, two questions on Pocket Positives in one day.

I posted a link to an earlier thread that I began on the revolver/cartridge on jstone's Pocket Positive thread.

It so happens I've been offered one of these from the 1920's era by a business associate.
I haven't seen it in person yet, but assuming it's in very good or better condtion, what might it's value be?
I know that a pretty broad thing, but I need to make an offer in a few days.
Thanks
Bill

I paid 270.00 for mine, but I don't have a feel for the general market.

I snapped this one up because of its condition and the challenge to find/develope a load for the ammo.

Regards
