Got a good little shooter in a Police Positive .38 S&W caliber, or should I call it PP.38 caliber for all you purist.

This gun left in a shop on consignment, little ole lady sold her deceased husband's work gun. It is marked on the back strap AM RY EXP, serial #3195XX. Has four inch barrel but the marking are faded because of handling and carrying a lot.

Bluing is about half gone, especially the cylinder. Getting close to almost pitting on the outside of barrel and cylinder.

Barrel bore and cylinder bore is excellent, gun shoots to point of aim at 25 yards...but had to bend the front sight a tad to do that.

I enjoy loading for this old timer with moderate charges, sure is fun to shoot. Especially with light bullets as there is hardly any report or recoil.

If you ever get a chance pick one up for a nice plinker.
