Not so recent news. I must say that what ruins the pistol as a pocket pistol is the large square triggerguard. Wonder why Colt did not offer some of the same upgrades , like the sights and ambi safety on the alloy version. Never understood Colt's reasoning and never will.

Ive stated else where in this forum, I prefer steel and alloy firearms. Agree, I wish Colt had upgraded the alloy pistol with the sights, and ambi safety. Who knows they may very well be doing that, The article did mention they weren't thru with the Mustang line and its variants, well at least that's how I understood it. I'm still partial to my 1991 vintage .380

Looks like a pretty nice pistol except for that square trigger guard.
