Thanks Chaosrob. I just bought it on a whim, and, if your correct, it sounds like I did "just" OK.

With the Dry Rot, Staining, rotted missing Stitching, seams pulling away from dry rot...

I would say like $20.00 tops...and it might be a hard sell even at that.

When all is good, and decent used, everything supple, all stitching intact, no dry rot, no problems, and not minty fresh or NIB, then, $100.00 or so...$125.00 maybe.

I passed on a WWII brown shoulder holster for $40 yesterday...same problems.

I know the Audley's are authentic and popular, and I have one. But I cringe at the thought of how many triggerguard finishes have been worn off by people just pushing the gun over the latch. I'm very careful with mine, holstering and drawing it slowly with my finger pressing the latch down. Which means your finger is inside the triggerguard, a dangerous situation. They just seem unsafe and damaging to me.

Just picked up a 1911 flap Audley, pretty rough but I'll see if it can clean up. Anything should be worth 100 bucks that is possibly a WWI US used item, to me.
