Based on conversations overheard here over the past couple of years, I decided to ask Pittsburgh Handgun Headquarters to fix my PPT .22LR. Its timing was terrible. The bolt would not rise until after the cylinder started to turn causing a metal smear behind each notch. The bolt then dropped immediately and dragged all the way to the next notch but wouldn't fall in. I took the revolver with me to visit family in Pgh over Christmas and, although PHH was closed for the holidays, owner Jim Schaub met me at the shop to take it in. 10 weeks later it was ready. Straightened the crane, refit the hand, refit the bolt, adjusted the action and retimed, cleaned burrs on the screws and bolt notches, stoned the single action for 3lb pull and test fired, all for under a C-note. I'm a very satisfied customer.
