Price check .22 Officer\'s Model Target

Saw a 98% or higher .22 Officer's Model Target plus original box. They wanted $1,000 for it but it was a pretty thing.

I paid $650 for my last one in the same condition, but without the box early last year. $1000 is way too high unless there is something really special about it.

The way these old OMT's and Colts are going up, if it's that nice, and the Box is nice, try offering $ 800., if they say OK pay them and run.

Re: Price check .22 Officer\'s Model Target

My 1st year OMT in 22 LR was $350 OTD. 95% +/- with no box/paperwork and incorrect stocks. This was about a year to maybe year and a half ago.

So my opinion is $1000 is WAY high. Even $800 is too much IMHO. Unless these have risen DRAMATICALLY in the past year or two, I'd be hard pressed to pay much more than $500 for one.

Please note the above opinion comes from one who is admittedly "frugal."

Thanks for the opinions. It's out of my league anyway. But it really is pretty.
