Quick question - if reloading lead bullets to shoot in a python what dia. do you recommend? Does this dia. change for different years of python mfg.

More of a question for my information. I shoot sharps and the dia. we use is .001" larger than most bullet mfg suggest and those made earlier used a bullet another 0.002" dia. -- wondering if the same was for pythons etc.

Similar for the colt anaconda.

The Python bore never changed. Colt made their own barrels and Colt barrels were famous for their uniform quality.
The Python bore tapers slightly toward the muzzle so you don't want a bigger bullet.
Use the standard size cast bullets.

I use .358 diameter in my Python and all 357 Colts. Works well. Colt guns seem to have tight chambers so a larger bullet does not work for me.
