I'm considering the purchase of a Python with a the 8" barrel. Revolver is blued and in about 95% condition and has the Pachmeyer black rubber grips.
Problem is, I have no idea what a reasonable price would be. Any opinions? (stupid question)

2000-2300 depending on how nice it is in person. Very accurate, make a nice truck or hiking gun.

A reasonable price would be about $1500 or less. If it would have come with walnut stocks maybe a little more than that.

Now, an artificially inflated, overhyped, internet price for it, would be in the $2500 ballpark.
