I am considering buying a Python from a local dealer. The gun is very tight and timing is perfect. Very little holster wear. The bluing is beautiful. Asking price is $700 w/box and paperwork. The serial number is V028XX. Could someone tell me the exact age of this revolver? Thanks.

Very fortunate for you to find such a minty Python and at an outstanding price, I am sure you will enjoy it.

It was made in 1978, hope that helps.
