Hello I was wondering if anyone knows how many different finishes and barrel lengths were made on the python elites and which ones of those colt made the fewest of and rarest thanks in advanced

I am pretty sure just 3 Blue, Stainless and Bright Stainless and be careful a lot of stainless one are polished up and sold as Bright Stainless with fake boxes and labels as they bring a premium

I've also noticed two different styles of barrel roll marks.

Mine is PE067XX, it has the classic style roll mark (not block letter). Mfg date on mine is somewhere towards the end of 2003.

All I've ever seen were 4 or 6 inch barrels. Never seen an Elite in 8" or snubbie length. I have a blue and just picked up a matte both in 6 inch. It appears the 4 inchers are a little harder to find, at least here on the" Left Coast"

I have a 6" Python Elite, lettered as Factory Engraved with a Nickel finish. Not sure how many more Nickel Elites are out there

I would be amazed if I ever see a second Nickel Python Elite. Hold on to that one, admire it, care for it, repeat.

I have a Blue Elite serial number with a 2.5" barrel that lettered as a Python not an elite But was around PE13xx. I have also seen one 8" like it.
