Lustreless nickel. Is this what is called "colt guard" or something similar. The reason I know it is nickel is that it is chipped on the hammer and the trigger guard and the steel has rusted. I just bought the gun today. 6", nickel, Pachmyr/Colt stocks. S/N K654XX. When was it produced and what is the accurate name for the finish?

This one is definitely not bright. I mistook it for brushed stainless until I found the chipped nickel on the trigger guard and hammer.
