These things are getting ridiculous! A local dealer has a 99% six incher on consignment for $750.00 so figure $650.00 to $700.00 probably. I've seen 'em over $800.00 regularly though too. What do they go for in your area?

I will take a tractor trailer load (53' if available) at $750. I could take the rest of the year off and just live on the profit from them. I have a hard time buying a 99% Python for less than $1100.

Guys I have seen a 6" blue python sitting at a shop near me, but off the beaten path for $1,125s. It looks close to new to me, no box or docs. It`s been there a long time!
I already have a 2 1/2" nickle and a 4" blue. Otherwise I would have jumped on it. What should that go for in more populated areas, ballpark?

It would depend on weather or not it has the Walnut Grips, they usually add about $150 to the value of a nice Python in my experience.

Around here that gun, Like New with original wood grips would sell for about 1150 to 1250. Now if it had the original box, the same gun would would bring 1400 to 1600 around here. This is not a real populated area, there is just a lot of Colt and Winchester Collectors.

1100.00 dollars will easily get you a 85% er with some Ajax plasti-stags and a Uncle Mike holster/speedloader anyday of the week,, you are just too picky.
