I have a bright stainless Python with a 4" barrel. Accuracy is very good (when I can see the sights!). The front post has an orange insert which makes it difficult for me to see. Also, I cannot see much daylight between the front post and and the rear notch. I don't wanna take this gun to just anyone to replace the sights. Does anyone have any ideas? Does Colt's have different sights that they can put on? I would prefer a plain black front post (preferrably narrower). Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks Ron

Have you thought about a red dot site? There is no magnification and you can shoot with both eyes open. You can also adjust the size of the dot and many have a polarizing attachment giving you greater contrast. I have an Ultra Dot (4 moa dot) on my S&W Model 41 target gun. It has 11 or 12 different brightness settings and is awesome! It is the unit many bullseye shooters around here use. Just my $.02!
