We have a few folks in here that will recognize this immediately but I'm guessing that there are a lot of members that haven't ever seen one. Let's let them take a shot at it (so to speak

It's a .22 conversion unit, made at Kongsberg in Norway for the Norwegian 1914. Looks like someone made a box for it.
I've only see a handful of them.

I will and it does look strange. The .22 hole is off-set on the bore end.Post an image looking into the Chamber...
It would be fun to see how that is shaped there inside for the Cartridge 'Holder' ( .45 Dummy ) to chamber, while transitioning to the .22 diameter.
