I have one of those, too. I don't remember what I paid for it and no idea of current value. The glass dome on mine is slightly different...shorter.

A newbie question, I guess. What is the colt holding in his mouth and what is it holding with the front legs? And what is the significance of the two items?

These were handed out as gifts to members who attended the CCA Show several years ago. Each year CCA gives a nice gift to members who attend the annual show, just another reason to attend this years show in Concord, N.C. the first weekend of October.

Dirtrider...The horse is carrying a broken spear. A broken spear signifies a warrior slain in battle. By carrying the broken spear, the horse is continuing the fight.

It is my understanding that an old Colt family manor was named "Brokespear."
