Good morning folks, I am posting on here to maybe get a value on a ar15 a2 colt in 222 Remington. I did post that correctly it is chambered in .222 Remington. I have the colt historical letter stating 199 of these were made in 86 for export to Italy but somehow 50 remained in the us and we're sold to commercial dealers. It has 2 magazines and the original paperwork. What would this be valued at??

The R6510 was manufactured in 1985, and I believe that shipments were made to Aeromarine (closed) in Birmingham, Alabama, in December, 1985!!!
Generally, they should be in the SP212XXX- SP213XXX range, marked Sporter II, 1:12 twist, triangular hand guards, no case deflector, and tear drop forward assist.

Also, there was the R6510 that was manufactured in 1984-1987.
Generally, they should be in the SP357XXX- SP359XXX range, marked Sporter II (late just Sporter), 1:12 twist, round hand guards, no case deflector on A1, and round forward assist.

I have seen them for sale on GB for $3.5K- $4.5K, but none sold.
I believe that, in new/like new condition and without the box, $2,500.00- $2,750.00 (with the box, add $250.00).

Tony
