Recommended novel "G-Man"by Steven Hunter with real 30's gangsters lots of Colt stuff

I've never recommended a book on this forum but this one has so much Colt Government, Colt Monitor, Thompson, BAR stuff, the full-auto Colt Government with front grip and more, plus Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson, Pretty Boy Floyd, Bonnie and Clyde, and more, plus pre-FBI folks, and a terrific story, that I have to recommend it. Respectfully, Bill

Dillinger and his hamerless is included and I recall other mentions. When the Colt 45 is first mentioned it is described as "a commercial Colt 45 serial number C157345 sold to the Department of the Post Office in 1928."
