Wanted to share a pic of my Ruger Single Six .22........I fell in love with the stocks on this puppy.

That's a beautiful pistol. Don't know as much about Rugers. Looks more like a Bisley model. My single six looks like the standard (smaller) blackhawk frame.

These things are a "dime-a-dozen", but I gotta admit this is one of my favorite plinkers.

No, that is NOT a Bisley. It is a Single Six with fixed sights. The grip frame is the same as the Super Single Six shown, the one with the adjustable rear sight.

The difference between the the Bisley and the Blackhawk/Single Six is the grip frame. Ruger did not copy the Coly Bisley, but modified it somewhat, similar to the Keith designed Colt No. 5 revolver.
