Why?Didn't they already build that? I think it was called a Ballester Molina?
I've got a few Molinas, and they feel insulted by the comparison. The Molina has a better look, and the best part is they don't say glock anywhere. I actually like shooting them a bit more than my Colts because of the lack of the grip safety. I've got one set up with a match barrel and bushing. Drives 'em nuts at my indoor bullseye league. Pretty much a xringer with hand loaded semi-wads.

...hahahaahaha....oh- i just wretched up in my mouth a little...What a fine example of an evolutionary "right turn" at Albuquerque. Like the dead end branch of a species tree. Or one of them dinosaurs with horns on its head, and little arms that doesnt know it extinct yet. After multiple decades and designs, both the 1911 and Glock already look correct themselves. Why mongrelize them. But as a table leveler, its great.

While I dont think I want one, the bottom line is, would it sell? Regardless of what Colt affectionados think, there apparently is a vast market for black plastic pistols. I like the idea of a Glock with chageable ergonomic features--mainspring housing, grip safety, thumb safety--but I'm afraid the under-30s might not appreciate it. Would this proposed pistol have the Glock action? If it has the Browning action, the only advantage I see besides cheaper-to-make plastic parts is the distinction of having the ugliest .45 on the block.

And in reviewing my post, I realize I have taken this entirely too seriously.
