Have you seen the gunbroker ad for this beat up old thing? I offered on it when the auction first started, but dropped out at $500 .It has an offer of $1125 + $30 shipping and it looks as if it`s been used as a barbwire fence tool. How do you think it got in such condition?
There`s still 5 hours left if someone wants to rescue it. It makes me doubly happy with my recent buys.

It was obviously not used as a cased exhibit piece; more like a working ranch tool. Still, you have to admire the gorgeous wood of the stocks and the intention for which it was originally made. It was a lovely gun.
