I had these on my Wilson Combat, I just ended up ordering the wood grips. These were made by Paul Persinger. Absolutely Beautiful.
$295 shipped in Texas only

I did everything I could to get a deal done ( colt upper w/10"barrel NIB ) , suggesting and including a third party , then I mentioned to send me the item first and I would send money since he had no history and I did plus he could verify with other members ,he didn't like that idea . I gave him all my contact info and he did not forward his.
he also mentioned a different money source to use to send money ( don't remember name ) I told him I was not going to open another account of a money exchange outfit.
So I backed off and did not make any deal nor send money
buyer beware / when a person opens an account here in Feb. and tries to sell things in Mar. at below market ( upper @ 475 , ivory @ 295 ) / nothing on his profile .

While I didn’t need the ivory, I decided to buy. The seller pushed for quick money via some weird money Xfer I had never heard of. When I sensed a time push, I pushed back. Hurry up to me says s l o w down. I bowed out. The seller went postal claiming destitute status. Seems I was correct. I was burned by TXSlade some time back, my bounty on him stands.

I'm the one who lost $$$ on this ad...I sent money on 3/7 and never received the grips or heard back from this scumbag. He also was soliciting money from other users after I paid for the grips. I ask the mods to ban him.

He provided the following information during our chain of correspondence:

Andrew Wilson
717 W Shaw
Tyler TX 75701
(430) 201-3919

He also used an email address with Doc Holliday as the handle & the underlying address was [email protected]. Also beware of the email address [email protected]. The phone number is a Google Voice and connected to a location in East Texas (which is where Tyler is located).

He went to an awful lot of trouble just to get $250 out of me. That included additional pictures (now phony I bet), several rounds of email, a real physical address, an IP address based in Texas, etc. I'm fortunate enough in that the money doesn't affect me nor am I looking for sympathy. One day, he will scam the wrong person and it will catch up with him. It just adds a sour taste to what should otherwise be a fun hobby for most of us.

Due to the possibility that the country may soon see an unemployment rate of 20% or more I'm afraid we are going to see more scams and fraud as more people become desperate for cash just to survive. The last thing I'd do now is to post a wanted to buy add on any site. It seems that crooks pour out of the woodwork when times are hard. I really appreciate that members here don't hesitate to post an alarm.

Andrew Wilson is AKA TXSlade. I have actually drove to his address in Tyler, spent time with is apt. Mgr. He had skipped out. I spent about half an hour at/with the Tyler PD. At that time he had no wants/warrants or there were no indication he had been handled. He is apparently still in the East Texas area. I want this guy in custody.

This is exactly right, you reap what you sow. Some it just happens to sooner than later. Sorry for your loss, that sucks.

Texas probably not the best place to be running these type scans either. Sounds to me like he may be in danger of catching a case of lead poisoning.

I agree with the good old fashion hanging, problem is only 10 people would be allowed to attend because of the virus. 😁😁😁
