Selling on Gunbroker fee breakdown

I sold several more, but the results were all pretty much the same. All hammered for a low price, but with fee's and taxes the buyer actually paid about fair value, which it looks like buyers are taking into account.
My FFL's fee's are reasonable, IMO.
Gunbroker fee's are not.
Excellent and informative breakdown.

I have always felt that hammer prices on Gunbroker are "artificially" suppressed by the buyers need to incorporate their fees into what they are willing to pay.

The hammer falls on a "fair" price and by the time you get paid you're assed out most (if not all) of any "appreciation" one may come to expect reference the item being offered.

A person might be better served to consign his firearms to a local FFL and negotiate a better deal as opposed to dealing with Gunbroker.
