I've had a series 80 GM for over 20 years. It's bone stock and in nearly new condition. Only issue I've had is that every so often it will eject a spent case right into the shooters forehead. What can I do to correct this? It also bites the web of my hand a good bit. Would a commander style hammer and or a flat mainspring housing help with this? Lastly, what mods would you folks suggest to improve the overall shootability of this piece? I'm not really into abidexterous safeties and the like but was wondering about barrel bushings, guide rods, springs, etc. TIA
