One of my 2020 Python's is under serial number 1500. There is the slightest bit of scratching on the muzzle crown. It wasn't something I would have noticed or even cared about if I didn't see some of the posts about it. My gun is unfired still in the case, it may stay that way. Anyhow, read about some of the early ones having screws loosening too. I don't like sending guns all over the country, it's a hassle, and a PITA to be home to get the return, and more importantly I trust none of the shipping companies. What would you do? Leave it as is, or send it in? I still have a few Colt Automatic (u.s. made juniors) I haven't sent in yet, LOL. Thanks.

I’d send it back if it was mine as long as the freight was on Colt.

I'm fine with the muzzle crown really, it's all the "loose screw" issues that worry me more.

Those are miniscule scratches, I would not worry about them. Tighten the screws yourself. No reason to send a gun back to the factory to tighten screws or polish a scratch out.
